Spring Tulips is a very beautiful watercolor painting. In this composition of tulips I used pastel spring colors and kept the background soft and simple to only compliment the tulips. Each tulip has a variety of values. Gentle soft shadows on the leaves. Painted on Arches 140 lb. 100 percent cotton watercolor paper with Daniel Smith professional watercolors.
