Spider Orchid Flowers painted from a photo I took in Kona, Hawaii. This is a most exotic looking orchid plant. Used a variety of pink tones on the inside of the flowers and deep rich violet red tones on the pedals. The background kept loose and soft with a range of green tones. The size of this original painting is 15 x 11 inches. Painted on Arches 100 lb. 100 percent cotton watercolor painting with professional brand Daniel Smith watercolors.
