Elephant motherly love is a beautiful original watercolor painting. In this painting I wanted to focus on the hug and love for the younger elephant. I used dark values for the shadows and lighter values on the elephants with earthly colors, the background I used purple greys to compliment the colors on the elephants. the foreground kept simple and some shadows.
The size of this painting is 15 x 11 inches. Painted on Arches 300 lb. 100 percent cotton watercolor paper with professional brand Daniel Smith watercolors. Will look more beautiful with your choice of mats and frame.
