The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Lady bug painting inspired to paint something cheerful, colorful and exciting to look at. The colors make me happy and it was a joy to paint this little bug. The feeling of spring when flowers and insects are busy. Painted on Arches 140 lb. paper using Daniel Smith watercolors. The size is 12x9 inches. Will look beautiful with your choice of mat and frame.
About Hilda Vandergriff
California artist, Hilda Vandergriff, learned to draw and paint from art teachers at College of The Sequoias, has taken many workshops on the Central Coast and at The Door Gallery. Hilda's art inspiration is nature; insects, flowers, animals and landscapes.
