Dragonflies and Ferns was inspired by an art lesson I taught on insects. Very detailed and delicate touches to the insects. A fern plant in my patio also made this painting possible for a composition. I love that the dragonflies are different in colors and one flying and the other on the fern plant. Kept the background simple and soft. The size of this painting is 15 x 11 inches. Painted on Stone 300 lb. 100 percent cotton watercolor paper using professional brand Daniel Smith watercolor paints.
