Monarch Butterfly is an Original Watercolor Painting. It was a joy creating this beautiful butterfly painting. I used colorful rich colors of purple and turquoise blue to enhance the background of the butterfly. The butterfly has delicate details on its body and wings painted with yellow and orange colors. I left out the white spots on the butterfly because I just liked how it looked. Painted on Arches 140 lb. 100 percent cotton watercolor paper using professional brand Daniel Smith watercolors. The size of painting is 10 x 7 inches.
