This is a very beautiful and colorful painting of a dragonfly and fall leaves. The leaves have fall colors and texture. The background has leaf shadows and splashes to compliment the colors of the leaves. The insect was painted with great care and delicate details. I painted a series of four with different insects because I was enjoying the process. Painted on Arches 140 lb. 100 percent cotton watercolor paper using professional brand, Daniel Smith, watercolors. The size of the painting is 12 x 9 inches. Will look stunning with your choice of mat and frame.
