Happy Cats is a painting of nine cats for nine lives. It was painted on rice paper using watercolor and Chinese ink. The rice paper has visible fibers. Calligraphy and seal chop is artist signature. Original is available. It is doubled matted and framed and finished size is 16" x 20". This painting will make you smile and makes a great gift for any cat lover.
About Hilda Vandergriff
California artist, Hilda Vandergriff, learned to draw and paint from art teachers at College of The Sequoias, has taken many workshops on the Central Coast and at The Door Gallery. Hilda's art inspiration is nature; insects, flowers, animals and landscapes. She looks for the beauty in all her subject matter that ultimately will translate into an original cherished piece of artwork. My pastels are rich velvety colors for exotic looking orchids. The watercolor paintings are a variety of animals, insects, and flowers inspiration from nature and travels. The dragonfly for me is a joy to paint and add to my paintings. They bring me happiness.
