Flame Robins are found in Australia and Tasmania. They prefer to live in forest and woodlands. I think the recent fires in Australia affected me to paint this beautiful creature. My goal was to paint the bird with more delicate details and the main flower. Kept the background soft. The size of this painting is 15 x 11 inches. Painted on Arches 140 lb. watercolor paper using Daniel Smith watercolors. Will look beautiful with your choice of mat and frame.
